Breaking: Vladimir Guerrero Says 'No Deal' With Blue Jays
The deadline was set for midnight. And Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has announced today that he and the Toronto Blue Jays were not able to come to an agreement on an extension, meaning that he will become a free agent after the season.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. says that he and the Blue Jays were unable to agree on terms of a contract extension before his self-imposed deadline.

When asked if the Blue Jays were close in negotiations, Guerrero answered "No."
I’m here. We didn’t get an agreement. Now, they’re going to have to compete with 29 other teams.
He added that he would love to be a Blue Jay for life, and would still consider signing with them, but not if they don't out-bid every other team in baseball.
