BREAKING: Dodgers Add Yet ANOTHER Big Name in Free Agency
Here we go again. The Los Angeles Dodgers, who are taking heat all over the baseball world for putting together an unbeatable superteam, are at it again on Tuesday, signing 2-time All-Star closer Kirby Yates to a free agent deal.

The ink wasn't even dry yet on the Dodgers' last deal, signing another closer, Tanner Scott, to a 4-year, $72 million contract, and now they make their bullpen clearly the best in the game with the addition of Yates.
He will be 38 come Opening Day, but with the strength of the Dodgers' 'pen, he won't have to carry too heavy of a load.
All he did last season in 61.2 innings with the Texas Rangers was post a ridiculous 1.17 ERA with 33 saves and a 12.4 K/9, while limiting opposing batters to an insanely puny .113 batting average and .407 OPS. He was fully back to where he was before a slew of injuries cut him down after his first All-Star season in 2019, when he led the majors with 41 saves with the San Diego Padres.
The LA bullpen now features Yates, Scott, Blake Treinen, Evan Phillips, Michael Kopech and others.
