BREAKING TRADE: Garrett Crochet Moves to the AL East
He's been on the trade block since early in the 2024 season. Now, Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Garrett Crochet is finally on the move. And he'll be changing his Sox as he gets dealt to the Boston Red Sox.

The BoSox have been adamant this offseason to find an ace for their rotation, and after falling short on Max Fried in free agency, they hope with this deal that they've found him.
Crochet, in his first full MLB season in 2024, posted a 3.58 ERA with a 1.07 WHIP and an astonishing 12.9 strikeouts per nine innings.
In return, Boston sends a prospect package of catcher Kyle Teel, outfielder Braden Montgomery, infielder Chase Meidroth and right-hander Wikelman Gonzalez.
The exchange won't please White Sox fans, who endured the worst season in franchise history, with the only relief from the ugly performances being when Crochet took the mound every five days.
Thanks for being one of the only things worth watching on the worst team ever, Garrett Crochet
