Watch: Shohei Ohtani Game for the Ages Etches MLB History
He is not human. Shohei Ohtani just had a game for the ages, and set a record for the ages, all in one afternoon. Baseball history has been re-written.
Ohtani became the first and only member of the 50-50 Club in the long 150-year history of major league baseball, by going an insane 6-for-6 with three home runs and 10 RBIs in a momentous game on Thursday. Like, are you kidding me?

"The greatest day in baseball history," was the enthused call on the broadcast.
Is it possible that the Los Angeles Dodgers have already gotten their money's worth on the $700 million contract they gave him this past offseason?
Ohtani has had arguably the greatest season in baseball history — without even taking the mound where he pitches like a Cy Young candidate, as he recovers from Tommy John surgery last winter.
Shohei now has 51 home runs and 51 stolen bases in his historic season.
No one in @MLB history had gone 5-for-5 with 2 homers, 4 extra base hits and 2 steals.

And no one had ever gone 6-for-6 with 3 homers, 5 extra-base hits and 2 steals.
Shohei Ohtani did it on the day he christened the 50-50 Club.
There is only one Shohei Ohtani. Incredible.
Folks, we are watching the greatest ballplayer of all time. Even The Babe would admit.
HISTORY!

Ohtani now has a league-leading 1.005 OPS, a league-leading 51 home runs, a league-leading 123 runs and a league-leading 120 RBIs.
Oh, and by the way, Ohtani punched his ticket to the playoffs for the first time in his career with this game, clinching a postseason berth for the Dodgers.
