MLB Rumors: Blake Snell Predicted To Land With NL East Team This Offseason
After a challenging start to his season with the San Francisco Giants and a stint on the injured list, Snell rebounded impressively, finishing with a 5-3 record, a 3.12 ERA, and 145 strikeouts over 104 innings.
His strong second half solidified his status as one of the top arms available in free agency, and according to Beaston, teams in need of elite pitching, like the Mets, are expected to aggressively pursue him.

Beaston highlights the Mets as the most likely destination, given their need for frontline starters following a disappointing 2024 season.
“The Mets, Cubs, and Dodgers are among the teams that will seek pitching help this offseason," Beaston notes, adding that Snell "would instantly make any of them better."
With the Giants unlikely to commit to a long-term deal, New York’s history of making bold free-agent moves positions them to make a serious run at Snell, who could become a massive piece in their efforts to revamp the rotation.
