MLB Trade Rumors: 4 Notable Nationals Will Be Dealt

The Washington Nationals rebuild is moving along at a much faster pace than anticipated, with three of the top prospects landed in the Juan Soto trade leading the way. CJ Abrams, James Wood and Mackenzie Gore give the Nats great hope for the future.

They enter this year's trade deadline with more pieces to deal to beef up the system even further.

Here's a look at the four top names the Nationals will be selling:

Lane Thomas

After a big breakout season last year, Thomas hasn't been quite as impactful this season, but the 28-year-old would still be a good pick up for teams looking for depth in the outfield. He has one more year under contract.

Jesse Winker

A former All-star, Winker is having a huge bounce back in Washington after a disastrous two seasons with Seattle and Milwaukee. This year in DC, he's got 11 HR, 43 RBIs and an .817 OPS with a 137 OPS+. He will definitely have some takers. He's on an expiring contract.

Dylan Floro

On the pitching side, Floro is having a nice year in the bullpen with a 2.20 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. He is on an expiring contract as well.

Kyle Finnegan

The Nats closer is having a tremendous year with a 2.52 ERA and 24 saves. He closed out 28 games last season. He still has another year of team control remaining. Closers like Finnegan are in high demand at the trade deadline and he should bring Washington a nice haul if they decide to move on from the 32-year-old after five seasons with the team.
