TRADE: Phillies, Orioles Swing Deal
The Philadelphia Phillies have been on the hunt for an outfielder, while the Baltimore Orioles have been looking for another arm for their bullpen. Today, the two top World Series favorites got together and completed a swap, sending OF Austin Hays from Baltimore to Philly in exchange for reliever Seranthony Domínguez and OF Cristian Pache.
The Phillies have been looking for a platoon partner for Brandon Marsh in the outfield from the right side. Hays has torn it up against left-handers this season:Trade news -- between two teams that could be facing one another in the World Series this year.

72 at-bats, batting .328 with a .894 OPS
Has a $8 million club option for next year (same thing Seranthony had), got off to dreadful start this year but has been really good since May 1st.

In 72 at-bats against southpaws, Hays is batting .328 with a .894 OPS. In 50 at-bats against lefties this year, Marsh is hitting .140 with a .371 OPS. Huge improvement coming here for Philly.
