Selby, at 26 years old, brings potential to the Royals' organization. His recent performances with Triple-A Indianapolis showcase his readiness to contribute at the highest level.
For his minor-league career, Selby holds a solid 3.49 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, with 280 strikeouts across 263.1 innings and 118 appearances.
Despite his control issues, Selby's impressive strikeout rates and knack for inducing ground balls make him an enticing addition to the Royals' pitching arsenal.
