3 Top Teams Interested In Free Agent Josh Hader
The New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, and Los Angeles Dodgers are among the teams deeply interested in acquiring his services.
Hader is seeking a substantial contract, reportedly aiming for a deal that surpasses Edwin Díaz's record-setting $102 million contract with the Mets, making him one of the highest-paid relievers in baseball history.

Each of these teams, however, faces unique challenges and priorities in their pursuit of Hader.
The Yankees, known for their high-profile acquisitions, view Hader as a potential key addition to their bullpen.
Their pursuit might become more aggressive if they are unable to re-sign Jordan Montgomery, although there is some reluctance to commit to a long-term contract similar to Díaz’s.
The Dodgers, on the other hand, have already made significant investments, surpassing a billion dollars in offseason spending with acquisitions like Shohei Ohtani and Tyler Glasnow, yet remain intrigued by Hader's talent.
The Rangers are also in the mix, possibly looking to strengthen their team as they craft a new identity.

Hader, at 29 years old, has an impressive resume that includes three NL Reliever of the Year awards in seven seasons.
His performance, particularly in the 2023 season, where he boasted a 1.28 ERA and 33 saves, adds significantly to his appeal.
The question of which team will secure Hader remains a topic of much speculation.
