NL East Team Linked To Cy Young Award Candidate
The MLB Winter Meetings are officially upon us, and just a week after the 2023 World Series was concluded, we may be on the verge of seeing some substantial, potentially landscape changing moves in the coming weeks.
After yet another NLCS appearance, the Philadelphia Phillies are looking to gear up again to take it one step further in 2024, and with one of their top arms in Aaron Nola hitting free agency, the team have their eye on another veteran to potentially replace him.
According to reports, it appears the Phillies have a major interest in Sonny Gray if Nola does find a new home in the coming weeks, and given how close they were to another World Series appearance this year, this could be a fantastic addition for Philly. The Phillies are interested in Sonny Gray and will be a top suitor for him if they don't retain Aaron Nola, per @jonmorosi pic.twitter.com/XwB13Q5QEf
