Milwaukee Brewers Swing A Solid Trade With The New York Yankees
The Milwaukee Brewers had yet another fantastic regular season in 2023, but unfortunately, that success didn't translate to the post-season, and now, they're looking to make some big changes ahead of a critical 2024 campaign.
After losing Manager Craig Counsell, the Brewers have already swung several trades, and on Friday, they made another solid one, acquiring outfielder Jake Bauers from the New York Yankees, giving up minor league outfielders Jace Avina and Brian Sanchez in the deal.
In 2023, the 28-year old finally made a major impact at the MLB level, and while he hit just .202 on the season, Bauers was able to hit 12 home runs and 30 RBI's in just 272 plate appearances, and if he gets a full-time role in Milwaukee, he could be a key piece of their lineup.Trade news: The Milwaukee Brewers acquired outfielder Jake Bauers from the New York Yankees for minor league outfielders Jace Avina and Brian Sanchez.
