Los Angeles Angels Expressing Strong Interest In Free Agent Star
The Los Angeles Angels just seemingly wasted some of the best years of Shohei Ohtani's career, and now, with him likely moving on from the team as a free agent, they now reportedly have their eyes set on another big bat for their lineup.
While he's nowhere near as accomplished as Ohtani, the Angels have expressed strong interest in former Chicago White Sox star Tim Anderson, and as they try to salvage the final years of Mike Trout's career, this could be the move they end up making.
The 2023 campaign was one of Anderson's career worst, with just one home run and 25 RBI's in over 500 plate appearances, but if he can bounce back on a short, prove it deal with the Angels, it may end up being a very solid move. The Angels are "expressing strong interest" in Tim Anderson, per @BNightengale pic.twitter.com/3pZLLJCe8k
