Chicago Cubs Officially Announce New Manager
The Chicago Cubs had a fantastic 2023 season, and while they ultimately failed in making a playoff spot, the team have plenty of positives going forward, and now, they've managed to steal a key piece from a division rival to make that push.
According to Ken Rosenthal, the Chicago Cubs will be hiring Craig Counsell, the former Milwaukee Brewers boss as their next Manager, and given his record with the Brewers, this is a major coup for the rising Chicago Cubs.
Counsell has been leading the Brewers since the 2015 season, and since that point, Milwaukee have finished first in the Central three times, with a second place finish three times alongside an impressive 707-625 record, and now with even more star power, this could be the time a Counsell led team makes a deep playoff run.Cubs have hired Craig Counsell as their manager, per @Ken_Rosenthal pic.twitter.com/TUCHLe4Xg0
