New York Yankees Star Awarded Prestigious Honour

 

The 2023 MLB season didn't go exactly the way that the New York Yankees wanted, but there's certainly positives from this team as they look to win their first World Series in 15 seasons next year, with the biggest of all being perhaps the MLB's biggest star, Aaron Judge.

On Monday, the former MVP was given one of the most prestigious awards in baseball as he was announced as MLB's 2023 Roberto Clemente Award winner, given to the MLB player who "best exemplifies the game of baseball, sportsmanship, community and involvement and the individuals contribution to his team.

Past winners of the award include names like Willie Mays, Derek Jeter, David Ortiz, Yadier Molina and most recently Justin Turner, and given what a solid player and person he is on and off the field, it's certainly a well deserved award for No. 99.
