Houston Astros Manager Reveals His MLB Future
After years of dominance, the Houston Astros were finally stopped short of the World Series, being blown out by their state rival Houston Texans in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series, and following the game, we got some surprising news.
According to those around the Astros from The Athletic, veteran, World Series winning Manager Dusty Baker has told people that 2023 was his last season as a manager, and while he didn't go out with a ring, it ends a stellar career for Baker.
In his career as a manager, dating all the way back to 1993, Baker has put together a stellar record, going 2,183-1,862 over that time with San Francisco, Chicago, Cincinnati and Houston, and after finally getting his World Series ring a year ago, he retires as arguably one of the greatest Manager's of all-time.Dusty Baker has told multiple people that he is going to retire now, per @TheAthletic pic.twitter.com/IVXz6MHVyM
