Former All-Star Pitcher Elects Free Agency
Julio Teheran, the 32-year-old right-handed pitcher, has officially entered free agency after the Milwaukee Brewers removed him from their 40-man roster at the conclusion of the 2023 regular season.
Teheran played a crucial role in shoring up the Brewers' injury-plagued starting rotation during his time with the team.
The former All-Star delivered mediocre performance statistics, including a 4.40 ERA, a 1.13 WHIP, and a 50/13 K/BB ratio over 71.2 innings in 14 appearances, with 11 of those being starts.

Teheran's decision to explore free agency is expected to draw significant interest from other teams in the upcoming offseason.
Over his 12-year career, the 32-year-old holds a 3.83 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, with 1,257 strikeouts across 1,468 innings and 254 appearances (247 starts).
As he embarks on his journey into the open market, Teheran is undoubtedly poised to seek an opportunity to secure a spot on an Opening Day roster, potentially with a different team for the upcoming spring. Photo Credit: Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports
