New York Yankees Place Veteran Star On Injured List
Despite not having a terrible record, the New York Yankees sit in last place in the American League East, as not much has gone right for them during the 2023 season, and now, it appears they're officially done, and could potentially be looking to incorporate more and more young talent into this team.
Unfortunately, now the team have officially ended the season of veteran starter Luis Severino, who has a high-grade oblique strain, according to manager Aaron Boone after another up-and-down campaign in pin stripes.
Severino has now potentially pitched his final game as a member of the New York Yankees, and after showing plenty of potential, it's safe to say that he's been a major disappointment for this team over the past few years, so hopefully for his sake he can get healthy and find a home elsewhere in baseball.Luis Severino is out for the season with a high-grade oblique strain, Aaron Boone confirmed. pic.twitter.com/ihWuSfvdFc
