Tampa Bay Rays Confirm Brutal News On Injured Star
Despite plenty of injuries this season, the Tampa Bay Rays have continued on their winning ways, and find themselves in a great position to make a very deep playoff run in 2023, but unfortunately, the injury news just keeps getting worse.
A few days ago, it was confirmed that Shane McClanahan is going on season ending Injured Reserve, and now, it gets worse, as it has now been revealed that he will be getting Tommy John Surgery, meaning that he will not only miss this year, but likely all of next season too.
At 26-years old, there's plenty of time for him to get back to the big leagues, but after such a promising start to his career at the big league level, it's heartbreaking to see injuries like this, and we hope to see him back for Tampa Bay one day.Shane McClanahan will undergo Tommy John surgery on Monday and will likely miss all of next season, per @TBTimes_Rays pic.twitter.com/qKdyBfYPFt
