Seattle Mariners Honour Franchise Legend
Throughout MLB history, the Seattle Mariners have seen some incredible players, and while they're yet to find substantial playoff success, they've had some of the best players in baseball over the past generation or two, and now, they've honoured one of those.
This past weekend in Seattle was considered King Felix weekend, and after the career he had with the Mariners, this was an honour that was well deserved, as he was officially induced into the Seattle Mariners Hall of Fame.
In his Mariners career, Hernandez put together a record of 169-136 with a 3.42 ERA over 2,729.2 innings of work, as well as taking home a Cy Young Award, two-time ERA Champion and six All-Star appearances, all while captivating the Seattle crowd every time he took the mound, so this was a great honour for an incredible pitcher..@RealKingFelix claims his throne in @Mariners history. 👑 pic.twitter.com/44Ln8kinmo
