Report: Oakland Athletics DFA Veteran Ramon Laureano

 

The Oakland Athletics have been the worst team in baseball all season long, yet somehow, they are managing to make even worse decisions, as on Saturday, they officially DFA'd one of their most consistent players.

That player is veteran Ramon Laureano, and while he has had a slow start to the 2023 season, the 29-year old has been a consistent presence with the Athletics since his debut back in 2018, and now he could be looking to find a new home.

In those six years with Oakland, Lauerano has hit .246 with 68 home runs and 205 RBI, and while he never ascended to the star level some expected, he's been a solid, consistent piece in the lineup for them, but now it appears that run could be over.
