MLB Insider: Tampa Bay Rays Star Likely Done In MLB

 

The Tampa Bay Rays have been fantastic all throughout the 2023 season as they finally look to capture their first World Series in franchise history, but unfortunately, they've now run into some very serious issues with their young shortstop Wander Franco.

He is now under investigation by Major League Baseball for a potential relationship with a minor, and while some have suggested suspensions, it appears things could be worse, as reported by the man that broke his long-term extension in 2021.

According to Hector Gomez, a source close to the situation has revealed that it's very unlikely Franco will ever play in MLB again, even with the investigation still in its early stages, and judging from that, it could mean very bad trouble for Franco and the legal situation.
