Major Injury To Chicago Cubs Superstar Revealed

 

The Chicago Cubs Marcus Stroman was off to an incredible start in 2023, considered by many to be a Cy Young Award candidate, but unfortunately, he hasn't pitched since the end of July due to an injury, and now, the Cubs have given an official update.

According to Cubs writer Andy Martinez, the veteran right hander is dealing with a right rib cartilage fracture, and unfortunately for the Cubs National League Wild Card push, there is no current timetable on a potential return.

On the season, Stroman has a 10-8 record and a 3.85 ERA through 128.2 innings of work with 111 strikeouts, and one game deficit between them and the final Wild Card spot, they'll need him healthy as soon as they possibly can.
