According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the Los Angeles Dodgers are making a big push for Detroit Tigers ace Eduardo Rodriguez.

The Dodgers are clearly focusing on improving their pitching, as they are also very closely linked to Justin Verlander. Adding Rodriguez and Verlander would certainly make the Dodgers look a lot stronger on paper as they aim to go on a real run this postseason.

Rodriguez is having a strong 2023 regular season, and it is made apparent by looking at his stats. Appearing in 15 games, the southpaw sports a 6-5 record to go along with a 2.95 ERA. Due to his good season, there are many teams linked to him besides the Dodgers. Thus, the Dodgers have plenty of competition as they aim to land him.
