Chicago White Sox Claim Former Yankees Pitcher

 

The Chicago White Sox 2023 season has been nothing short of a massive disappointment thus far, as they weren't even able to compete in a wide open American League Central division, and now, they look to be building for the future.

Now, they've made another move, as they have claimed Deivi Garcia, a pitcher formerly with the New York Yankees on waivers, and at 24-years of age with some experience at the MLB level, this is a great move for Chicago.

Garcia has pitched in just 10 games over the past three years, tossing 48.1 innings over that time, and in his short time at the MLB level this year, he has posted a very impressive 1.59 ERA, so if the White Sox give him an opportunity, it appears he's ready to become a key piece on a big league ball club.
