The former Cy-Young candidate hasn't quite been himself since his fabulous 2019 season where he finished 13th in MVP voting and fourth in Cy-Young voting after posting a 2.75 ERA across 33 starts.
That being said, Flaherty did have a nice month of July, compiling a solid 3.03 ERA with 26 strikeouts over 29.2 innings and five starts, holding a 3-1 record.
The return for St. Louis has not yet been announced.
