Another Toronto Blue Jays Star Heads To The Injured List
The Toronto Blue Jays have put together a fantastic lineup in 2023, but unfortunately, they've struggled to stay healthy to this point, and after just getting Bo Bichette back from the Injured List, they've had to send another key infielder there.
After suffering an injury over the weekend, the Blue Jays have officially announced that All-Star third baseman Matt Chapman will be hitting the 10-day Injured List due to a right middle finger sprain, but thankfully, it doesn't appear to be the end of his season.
In 125 games this year, the 30-year old is hitting .248 with 15 home runs and 50 RBI while playing his brand of stellar defence at third base, and if the Jays are to make any type of noise in the playoffs, they'll be desperate to have him healthy. The Blue Jays announce that Matt Chapman has been placed on the 10-day IL with a right middle finger sprain pic.twitter.com/3GbrO4dsNd
