Report: Los Angeles Dodgers Young Star To Get Season Ending Surgery
The Los Angeles Dodgers, despite several injuries and tough competition, have once again found themselves as a heavyweight in the National League, but now, they've suffered yet another major injury blow.
This time it's young starter Dustin May, who will now officially miss the remainder of the 2023 season as he undergoes elbow surgery on his throwing arm to repair his flexor tendon, but could be back in time to be a genuine contributor to the 2024 squad.
In 2023, May looked to be just as lethal as ever as he had a solid 4-1 record through 48 innings over 9 starts, along with a solid 2.63 ERA, but now, the Dodgers will have to wait another season to hopefully see the young flamethrower at his best for a full season.Dustin May will undergo right elbow surgery to repair his flexor tendon and will miss the rest of the season pic.twitter.com/eYSWRVggKP
