Report: Chicago White Sox Place Veteran Flamethrower On Injured List
The Chicago White Sox had plenty of expectations on their shoulders coming into 2023, and thus far they've been a huge disappointment, but with just 7.5 games separating them and first place in the AL Central despite a 37-50 record, there's still time for them to make a push.
Now, that task will get somewhat harder, as the team have now officially placed veteran reliever Joe Kelly on the 15-day Injured List due to inflammation in his right elbow, and given that the All-Star break is coming up, it's unlikely we see him back for a few weeks.
