Philadelphia Phillies To Call Up Speedy Prospect
The Philadelphia Phillies made a fantastic run to the World Series a season ago, and now they will look to do so again despite the tough competition in the National League, so bringing up a young prospect that can give them a spark seems like it could benefit this team greatly.
After an impressive 2022 minor league season in which he stole 62 bases, Phillies No. 6 ranked prospect Johan Rojas caught the attention of Phillies fans everywhere, and after getting off to a red-hot start in 2023, he's got the opportunity to make his mark at the big league level now.
In 76 at the Double-A level this season, Rojas is hitting an impressive .306 with 9 home runs and 45 RBI, and with another 30 stolen bases added to his tally, he could make a major impact for the Phillies as they look to once again get back to the Fall Classic. To the show he goes!
