The New York Yankees have made an intriguing move by signing right-handed pitcher Jesús Liranzo to a minor league contract.

He showcased his potential during his time with the Lancaster Barnstormers in the independent Atlantic League, impressing with a remarkable performance.
Over the course of eight appearances and 10 innings, Liranzo allowed just one run while recording an impressive 18/3 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

Despite not having reached the major leagues yet, the 28-year-old pitcher represents an intriguing and calculated risk for the Yankees, who view him as a promising prospect worth taking a chance on.
Over his minor-league career, Liranzo holds a 4.38 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, with 375 strikeouts across 324.1 innings and 212 appearances.
