MLB Rumors: Seattle Mariners Listening To Offers On Several Big Names

 

The Seattle Mariners took a major step forward in 2022, and were considered a team ready to go on another playoff run this season, but in the tough American League West, they find themselves firmly in fourth place behind Los Angeles, Houston and Texas.

While they sit just 4.5 games out of a Wild Card spot, MLB Insider Bob Nightengale has reported that the team are listening to offers on Teoscar Hernandez, Ty France and Paul Sewald as they believe this team is set for future success, and may be looking to get prospects or future assets in return.

The Seattle #Mariners with impressive series win in Phoenix, and are 4.5 games out of wild-card berth. The #Mariners say they don’t plan to trade prospects at trade deadline, bit are listening on several of their veterans: Teoscar Hernandez, Paul Sewald and Ty France.

It's unclear yet what the level of interest is in any of these names, but given how many playoff contending teams out there need help, these could be very interesting options ahead of the trade deadline, which should see some frantic moves made in the coming hours.
