Chicago White Sox Sign Free Agent Right-Handed Pitcher
The Chicago White Sox have signed right-handed pitcher Jordan Holloway to a minor league contract.
Holloway recently opted out of his minor league pact with the Chicago Cubs and will now join the White Sox's Triple-A affiliate, the Charlotte Knights.
Although Holloway has yet to make his MLB debut this season, he has previous major league experience with the Miami Marlins, having appeared in the majors in each of the last three seasons.

Standing at 6'6", he has shown potential with his fastball, averaging around 95 MPH, and a decent strikeout rate. However, control has been a challenge for him throughout his career, as he has struggled with high walk percentages.
For his major-league career, spanning three seasons, the 27-year-old holds a 3.92 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and 38 strikeouts across 39 innings of work.
