Report: Seattle Mariners To Promote Pitching Prospect
The Seattle Mariners are off to a slow start in 2023, but have picked it up in recent times with a 29-27 record, and one of the biggest reasons for their recent turnaround has been the solid pitching, and on Saturday, they'll turn to yet another rookie to give them some key innings.
That would be Bryan Woo, who is their No. 6 ranked prospect coming into 2023, and after more injuries, he will be needed to eat some key innings on Saturday as they take on the dangerous Texas Rangers, who appear unstoppable at the top of the AL West.
In 9 starts at the Double-A level this season, Woo has racked up a 3-2 record with a 2.05 ERA over 44 innings of work, and while he doesn't come with the hype of fellow rookie Bryce Miller, Woo has all the attributes to be a long-time starter in the major leagues, and that all stars on Saturday.Tomorrow
