Report: MLB Seeing Massive Growth In Attendance Numbers In 2023
The 2023 season has been a great one for Major League Baseball thus far, with many surprise teams and fantastic games, and for those that were worried about the rule changes potentially hurting the league, it appears to have done just the opposite.
According to a recent report by Jon He-man, MLB attendance is up over the board 7.8 percent in 2023, with over 1.5 million people attending MLB games for the third straight weekend, something that hasn't happened for the past six years.
With stars like Shohei Ohtani, Mike Trout and young, emerging prospects in Elly De La Cruz lighting the league on fire, there's plenty of reasons to be optimistic about baseball right now, and it appears things are turning around with the league getting plenty of people in seats all season long.MLB attendance is up 7.8 percent over last year, per @JonHeyman
