Report: Houston Astros Superstar Headed To Injured List
The Houston Astros, despite all of their injury woes thus far in 2023 still find themselves right in the thick of the American League West division race, but now, they've suffered another injury setback, this time to their biggest star.
Unfortunately for Houston, Yordan Alvarez is now headed to the 10-day Injured List with right oblique discomfort, and after yet another stellar start to the season, the Astros will be hoping that their biggest power threat won't be out longer than a few weeks.
In 57 games thus far, Alvarez is hitting .272 with 17 home runs and a league leading 55 RBI's, establishing himself as one of, if not the single best power hitter in all of baseball, and now, he'll undergo further testing to reveal whether or not the injury will force him to miss more time.Yordan Alvarez is heading to the 10-day IL with right oblique discomfort pic.twitter.com/UhTZKRlIv1
