Los Angeles Dodgers Manager With High Praise For Young Rookie Phenom
While the MLB is stacked full of veteran stars, it appears that each and every week we see a new name coming through, and this week it was Cincinnati Reds No. 1 prospect (No. 4 in all of baseball) Elly De La Cruz who debut against a tough Dodgers team.
In three games thus far, Elly has been absolutely electric, with 4 hits in 11 at bats thus far, including a mammoth home run and a display of his speed on a massive triple, and it's certainly captured the attention of not only fans, but opposing managers as well.
Being on the opposing side of his debut series, Dave Roberts was full of praise for the young star, saying that managing against him is 'very scary', and with all the tools needed to be a superstar, it's safe to say that the NL Rookie of the Year award is right in Elly's sights.Dave Roberts gives his first impressions of Elly 🤣 pic.twitter.com/b9IkIuHlWv
