Breaking: Texas Rangers Superstar To Undergo Tommy John Surgery

 

The Texas Rangers have been one of the hottest teams in all of baseball throughout the 2023 season, racing out to a 39-20 record through their first 59 games, but now, they've been delivered a crushing blow that could have a major effect on their entire season.

Now, after placing superstar pitcher Jacob DeGrom on the 60-day Injured List, the team has revealed the worst news possible, as the veteran will have to undergo Tommy John Surgery, meaning that he will miss the rest of this season, and potentially a large portion, if not all of the 2024 campaign.

Unfortunately for DeGrom, despite his dominance over his career, he's struggled to stay healthy, with this being yet another setback in his career, and after signing a five-year, $185 million contract this off-season, it no doubt has to sting for both parties.
