White Sox Shake It Up With 11 Roster Moves

The Chicago White Sox finally won a game on Sunday  after 10 consecutive losses. But that doesn't mean they're not still looking to shake things up.

The South Siders made no less than 11 roster moves today.

And as Jesse Rogers noted, the two most significant moves included the activation of All-star shortstop Tim Anderson, and the DFA of beleaguered reliever Jake Diekman.

The lefty Diekman had a dreadful 7.94 ERA and a 2.12 WHIP in 11 innings.

As for much-missed team leader Anderson, he'll bring his usual .300-ish average back to the leadoff spot.

Other moves included the recall of veteran speedster Billy Hamilton and the optioning of rookie Oscar Colas to the Minors.
