San Francisco Giants Slugger Returns From Injured List
The San Francisco Giants have been arguably the hottest team in all of baseball over the past two weeks, and they've done so with a major youth infusion with the likes of Casey Schmitt and Patrick Bailey, as well as the returns of Mitch Haniger and Michael Conforto.
Still, if this team is able to go far this season, they will need consistency with their offence, and on Monday, they got a major boost in that department, as young lefty-killer Austin Slater has officially been activated from the Injured List.
While Slater is likely never going to be an every day player, he has shown the ability to hit for major power and use his speed on the bases and in the field, and in his first game since a return, he blasted a two run shot to give the Giants a 5-0 lead over the Pirates as the team continues to grow and get better week by week.Austin Slater is BACK 💣 pic.twitter.com/XipVtyrrkC
