Report: Chicago White Sox To Call Up Former Yankees Outfielder
The Chicago White Sox are off to a surprisingly poor start to begin the 2023 season with an 18-29 record through their first 47 games, but with no one running away with the division, there's definitely still time to turn it around.
Now, it appears that they are turning to outfielder Clint Frazier to give them a jolt, as the former Yankees, Cubs and Rangers outfielder will reportedly be called up and in uniform on Sunday as the White Sox take on the Kansas City Royals.
In 16 games with the White Sox Triple-A affiliate, Frazier is batting .375 with 7 home runs, and while he could never quite fulfil his potential in other organizations, perhaps this is the chance for him to finally cement himself as a big league outfielder.Hearing Clint Frazier will be in White Sox uniform Sunday. Frazier is batting .375/.478/.839 with 7 homers and 1.317 OPS in 16 games at Triple-A Charlotte.
