New York Yankees Starter Ejected From Game For Illegal Substance Issue
The New York Yankees have been criticized over the past 24-hours for alleged suspect behaviour in last nights game against the Toronto Blue Jays, and while it appears that nothing illegal was happening, the same can't be said about Tuesday nights game.
On Tuesday, Yankees starter Domingo Germán was officially ejected for having an illegal substance on his hand, once which the officials called 'the stickiest I've ever felt' which 'definitely wasn't rosin', which isn't a good sign for the young starter.
After Max Scherzer was ejected for the same thing earlier in the season, he was handed a 10-game suspension, which is likely to be the same punishment here for Germán, the last thing New York needed with their injury situation.Yankees starter Domingo Germán has been ejected for having an illegal substance pic.twitter.com/hq9aIPo5DX
