New York Yankees Star Pitcher On Track To Return Soon
The New York Yankees have arguably been the team hardest hit by injuries in all of baseball throughout the 2023 MLB season, with several pitchers having missed the entire season to this point, one of whom signed a massive six-year, $162 million contract this past off-season.
That would be star left handed starter Carlos Rodon, who has yet to play in 2023 due to his ongoing back issues, but now, it appears he's officially on track to make his season debut, as he threw a bullpen session at high intensity, with the Yankees expected to ramp up his activity in the coming days and weeks.
It doesn't appear that he will return in the next 7 days, but he will soon move on to pitching to live hitters, and after that, a rehab assignment before his return to the MLB, so unless we get another major setback, expect to see Rodon on the mound as a Yankee in the coming weeks.
