MLB Rumors: Two Teams Could Open 2024 Season In South Korea
In recent years, all four North American sports have looked to increase their reach around the world, with both regular season and pre-season games being played all across the globe, and now it appears that to kick off the 2024 MLB season, we may have a new country ticked off.
After trips to England, Japan, Australia and Mexico among others, it is now being reported that bitter National League West rivals the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres will do battle to open up the 2024 MLB season in South Korea.
Given the improvements the game has made with the pitch clock and overall game quality, expanding it's reach around the world makes sense for the MLB, and with two bitter rivals headlining this matchup if the reports are true, the South Korean MLB fans are in for a treat.Dodgers and Padres may open 2024 season with series in South Korea, per @sdutKevinAcee pic.twitter.com/m3Lw1d4cLu
