MLB Rumors: Colorado Rockies To Consider Moving Reliever Back Into Their Rotation

The Colorado Rockies have once again struggled to begin the 2023 campaign, and with injuries piling up like they have around the league, they need to look at alternative measures to fill gaps on their roster, and it appears that may mean shifting one of their relievers back into the rotation.

According to Manager Bud Black, the Rockies are considered shifting roles once again for Dinelson Lamet, as the team are considering pushing him back into the rotation, following the past two years being spent coming out of the bullpen.

Out of the bullpen, Lamet has struggled this year, posting a 12.66 ERA in just 10.2 innings, so perhaps a switch back to the starting rotation could do wonders for his career, as he still has plenty left to give at 30-years of age.
