Milwaukee Brewers Veteran Starter Heads To The IL
The Milwaukee Brewers have been dominating the National League Central all season long, opening up a big lead in the division, but like many other teams around the league, they've been dealing with their injury issues, and now, it's been confirmed that it's getting worse.
After leaving his last start in the second inning, veteran starter Wade Miley will now head to the 15-day IL after appearing to pull something in his left shoulder, which couldn't come at a worse time for Miley or the Brewers.
Even after a solid career that has seen him rack up 102 wins, the 36-year old has been solid to start the year with a 3-2 record and a 3.67 ERA, and if Milwaukee wants to stay ahead of Chicago and Pittsburgh in the division, they will hope that it's just a 15 day stint on the IL and nothing more.“This is the most frustrating part,” Wade Miley said.
