Los Angeles Dodgers Promising Young Pitcher Placed On 60-Day IL
The Los Angeles Dodgers may be flying high atop the National League West division, but unfortunately, they've had to deal with a lot of injury issues thus far this season, and unfortunately, they've just given an update on a young pitcher that fans certainly didn't want to hear.
After leaving his May 17 start with a flexor pronator strain, young starter Dustin May was revealed to be missing four to six weeks, and now, the team have officially placed him on the 60-day Injured List, extending the time he will be out.
The 25-year old was off to a great start in 2023 with a 4-1 record along with a 2.63 ERA over 48 innings, but unfortunately, he's just not been able to stay healthy throughout his career, and now will not be back until July at the earliest.Dustin May is being transferred to the 60-day IL to clear a 40-man spot for Bobby Miller. Won’t pick up a ball for a while after his PRP shot.
