Los Angeles Angels Add Veteran To Their Bullpen
The Los Angeles Angels have been one of the most underwhelming teams in the MLB for years now, underperforming with two generational stars on their squad, but after a solid 20-18 start this year, it could finally be the time for them to snap their playoff drought.
One unit that could use some major help for this team is their bullpen, and on Thursday, they officially signed veteran RHP Reyes Moronta to a minor-league deal, and while he struggled last year, he's seen great success with San Francisco in the past.
In his four seasons with the Giants, Moronta racked up a 2.65 ERA over 132 innings, and while he hasn't had an ERA under 3 in the two seasons since that point, he can still get it done, and if the Angels need a veteran reliever with versatility, this was a great low risk option.#Angels have signed RHP Reyes Moronta to a minor league contract.
