Kansas City Royals Rumors: Pitcher Becoming Trade Candidate

The Kansas City Royals are the second-worst team in baseball and are naturally going to be sellers at the 2023 MLB Trade Deadline. Because of this, they are already ready to listen to offers for starting pitcher Brad Keller.

Keller is a pending unrestricted free agent who playoff teams looking for a bit more pitching depth would likely be open to acquiring. He has the potential to be a solid bottom-of-the-rotation pitcher when performing at his highest level, so there should be some clubs willing to take a chance on him as we inch closer to the deadline.

Keller has been off to a rocky start in 2023, however, as he has a 2-3 record to go along with a 4.67 ERA in seven appearances. Yet, when noting that he has had past success, there is reason to believe that he will bounce back as the year rolls on.
