Injury Update On Texas Rangers Superstar Starting Pitcher

The Texas Rangers have been building a star studded roster for a number of years now, and to start 2023, it looks like they'll finally begin reaping those rewards, especially if their biggest off-season acquisition in Jacob DeGrom can live up to the expectations.

Unfortunately, he had to leave his last start with an injury, and despite being eligible to come off of the Injured List early next week, Manager Bruce Bochy has confirmed that it will be unlikely to happen, with a more realistic timeline being two to three weeks. 

Even without DeGrom, the Rangers have managed to get themselves into first place in the AL West at 21-13, and if he can even be close to the pitcher we've seen for years in New York, this is a team that can no doubt make a genuine push for a World Series run in the American League.
