Houston Astros Superstar Returns To The Lineup For The First Time In 2023
The Houston Astros have been off to a solid, not spectacular start in 2023, and a big part of that has been the injuries, and while they won't be getting one of their big name starters back this year, superstar second baseman Jose Altuve will finally return to the lineup today.
After a wrist injury suffered in the World Baseball Classic, Altuve is finally ready to go again, and with the Astros sitting at 24-19 and in second place in a tough American League West division, this could be the boost they need to go on a big run.
In 12-years at the big league level, Altuve has consistently been one of the best players in the entire league, leading Houston to two World Series rings, recording a .307 batting average along the way, and even as he gets older, he remains a superstar and a huge influence for this team, so keep an eye on Houston going forward.Guess who's back? 👀 pic.twitter.com/mertm43hOD
